We are still over 3 hours from the twin cities.

The car's check engine light went on near Murdo, SD, so we spent the night and bought more oil this morning.

Indiana

We are on I-90 until Buffalo. Less than 8 more hours on this journey!

South Dakota

State #6... Not much to be excited about in South Dakota except getting past it.

We stopped at Mount Rushmore National  Monument, which requires an $11 entry pass.  Our pass is good for one-year, so let us know if you want it.

Wyoming

Two years later Wyoming looks pretty much the same. Next up: South Dakota

Bozeman is beautiful.

We left Arcata 1000 miles ago, we are now roughly 1/3 of the way through out trip.

After a fantastic few nights in Portland we are enroute to Bozeman, MT.  Currently we are enjoying the vistas provided by the Columbia River Valley.

Our final morning in Arcata is grey as we load the car and head first north then east. The parameters:

Arcata, CA to Buffalo, NY, via Portland, Bozeman, Mt Rushmore and Minneapolis.

We'll be going a bit slower this time, expecting to be in Buffalo a week hence.
